Purpose is multidimensional throughout our lives. Sometimes our purpose involves being there to care for a loved one as they pass. Other times, it is about showing up to cheer children (yours and others) in their sports and school performances. Still other times, it might be looking up and smiling as a stranger crosses your path.
Purpose doesn’t have to be a difficult process of finding one single solitary thing you do for work in the world. Even people who seem to find their vocational calling and stick to it all their lives can have a variety of purposes that far exceed the work they do.
We are human BE-INGS, not human DO-INGS. So be. Allow the inspiration and life’s flow to wash over and guide you. Trust you are right where you are supposed to be in this very moment (because you are and you can only breathe life into this moment of existence). The future and your path will unfold, so be gentle with yourself if you feel you’ve lost your way. You haven’t. You are right here, right now— reading these words and taking care of yourself. Hopefully, you are uncovering (and remembering) that your Soul is guiding you in ways our material existence cannot always comprehend.
Inspiration for the Day: I have always known
That at last I would
Take this road, but yesterday
I did not know that it would be today.
