Patience is powerful. Not just patience to steadily work at the tasks that lead to fruition to your goals; it is also essential to have patience with the present moment.
You may not like your current circumstances, or you may discover that tending to the moment—as it is—brings forth feelings of boredom, frustration, fear, and discontent.
Or you may feel exhilarated in the moment while simultaneously experiencing a nagging fear and dread that the happiness will end.
The solution for staying fully present is to pause and focus on the simple things you can cherish. Take a slow deep breath and appreciate how your lungs feel as you inhale and exhale. Relax the muscles in your body. Allow the calm stillness to center you—and trust the path ahead can be filled with this same calmness that you bring to it, no matter what happens in your life.
Inspiration for the Day: Try this for an affirmation as you breathe and relax: “I now choose to create a life that is joyous and abundant. I am at ease.”
