Fear has many disguises. It is one of the biggest causes that deter people from identifying and pursuing their personal purpose.
Fear is the voice that tells you you’re not good enough. It challenges you to play it safe and be grown-up. It dismisses dreams and inner desires as silly fantasy or delusion. It even tempts you with endless preparation distractions like continued education, training, classes, and seminars on top of already attained education.
Fear can also take you to a living hell as it lures you into disconnecting with your inner self and others through escapist behaviors on the addictive spectrum such as, alcohol, drugs, sex, love, technology, work, exercise, food, and media.
Inspiration for the Day: “One of our problems today is that we are not well acquainted with the literature of the spirit. We’re interested in the news of the day and the problems of the hour.” –Joseph Campbell
