Purpose frequently gets blocked by fear and ego-centered pride. People can stumble when they fear making a mistake or getting negatively judged and rejected. Sometimes people allow their ego-centered pride to become so inflated that they narcissistically seek endless attention, adulation, respect, and admiration from others. These relational energies can thwart the progress of genuine purpose and connectedness with others.
Think about the heroes that have most inspired you.
Now think about some of the heroes who let you down after meeting them or learning more about them.
Can you notice the difference between what inspired and what repelled you? Let that be your guide.
Inspiration for the Day: “The Ego is a veil between humans and God.” –Rumi
