One of the greatest obstacles to finding purpose is the belief that it doesn’t exist in this very moment. It does! As the axiom goes, you ARE right where you are supposed to be.
Every decision, every step along the way is part of your individual journey. Each step is an essential ingredient in your personal stew. Some herbs and flavors become dominant while others take a supportive background role.
Even dreaded failure can serve as some of the best gifts in life. It teaches us our greatest lessons and can be necessary in our development and our relations with others. Fear of failure and perpetual seeking of something better are some of the biggest challenges we overcome in life. They also make us very human and connect us to each other.
Acceptance of the here and now and the ever-unfolding process of life is our salvation.
Inspiration for the Day: “It is better to remain human and imperfect than to attempt the impossible task of becoming perfect—that is, of becoming divine, and therefore, inhuman.” –Richard E. Lind
