Living authentically is the key to fulfilling one’s purpose. The challenge arises when we don’t have a sense of who we are.
One couple spent years singularly focused on the husband’s medical career and building their wealth. They were so consumed by building a grand home and sending their kids to the perfect school that they imploded and sought counseling for marital and personal help. They both felt lost, unhappy and expressed they were living a fake life that neither of them wanted. After personal and couples work that examined the various areas of balance in their lives, they blossomed into new people. New careers for each of them were a byproduct of getting in touch with their deeper soul’s truth. They were also able to grow closer as a family.
Inspiration for the Day: “We are constantly being invited to be who we really are.” –Henry David Thoreau
